Just a quick pic to share with you a piece I’m wearing today and have been wearing a lot recently because it’s just so darn versatile. It’s made from Sodalite nuggets with Red Aventurine & Hematite rounds. Today I’m wearing a white shirt which really brings out the white inclusions in the Sodalite.
So Friday saw the the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games and with three nations to support in my house I thought I’d take the opportunity to create pieces inspired by each team. Watch this space to see how well (or not) that turns out!

I’m starting to have a real problem with storage, I have beads coming out of my ears and no solution! Last weekend, in preparation for the arrival of my latest bead order, I purchased another multiple compartment storage box. Sadly I underestimated the size of my order and it’s now full so I’m back to … More Help, Storage Needed!!
So it looks like my Red Aventurine & Amethyst sunshine necklace’s magic is starting to work already. The forecast for this weekend is dry & sunny and here’s the evidence to prove it – a beautiful rainbow over London yesterday as the cloud and rain finally give way to a little sunshine. It’s now less … More Jewellery Really is Magic!
In the hope that summer will start sometime soon in rainy London, I decided to use some Red Aventurine and Amethyst stones to create this fab extra long necklace. I made this necklace a few weeks ago after getting hold of some small Lepidolite ovals. They are really stunning, each one is a different shade of purple. I have placed them with some Black Sardonyx & Rock Crystal rounds. You can wear it with blue, black or even pink, it just works with anything!

I recently made these gorgeous pale green Jade earrings as a birthday gift for a friend. The faceted drops give them just the right amount of sparkle so you can dress them up or down as you please. I think I might make another pair for myself!!

Ok, so our trip to Amsterdam wasn’t exactly as we planned it, there were unexpected tears, an abandoned inflatable man doll named Tony and a missed flight, but we still had lots of fun. Annoying, I didn’t find any time to wander the streets in search of jewellery or bead shops, which means a return … More Despite the planning…
So, tomorrow morning (at a time too ridiculously early to mention) I will be flying to Amsterdam to celebrate a friend’s last nights of freedom before she enters the world of marital bliss! Well they’re not actually her last nights as the wedding isn’t for another month, but this way she gets to have all the fun … More Partying & Bead Hunting in The Dam!
I don’t usually make matching pieces only because I don’t tend to wear them myself, but people always seem to ask for a matching set so I thought I’d give the people what they want 😉
