Today is my birthday, a year older and hopefully bit wiser 😉 Instead of being at work, I’m spending another great day with my gorgeous husband. I’ve had breakfast made for me with dinner to follow – Im such lucky girl! We’ve had a great weekend attending a beautiful wedding at Rhinefield House in the New Forest. Driving up to the tudor/gothic English mansion we were greeted by some friendly ponies who stuck their heads in our window to say “Hi”, or take a bite out of us – I’m not so sure which. A surprisingly mild December day meant that we could wonder the grounds during the cocktail hour and breathe the crisp country air. The venue was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the red and silver colour scheme complimented the traditional decor perfectly. The bride looked stunning in a three quarter lace sleeve gown with a soft up do and a sneaky pair of white converse shoes dancing. There were some lovely DIY touches, which I obviously appreciated, in particular a tree of handmade Christmas stocking escort cards and Christmas cracker place cards. A wonderful fairytale day.
Back in London and the sun is shining for me today. I’m looking forward to the next few days celebrating with family and friends.
Merry Christmas All!!
Until Next Time!
